122545Photo #122545This is a very busy route to the seafront (between Bransbury Park and the Eastney swimming pool). There isn't enough space on the pavement for pedestrians to safely pass each other. There are often people walking and running into the road to get past each other which is unsafe for them and a hazard for bikes and cars.Track:

121883Photo #121883Castle Road: Even before lock down the pavement is too narrow for people to pass each other. 2 way traffic on a narrow road means that there is not room for a bike to pass a car. During lock down it has been impossible to walk or cycle down this road while keeping 2m distance from others.

Yarborough Road: Parking on both sides of the street make visibility poor, and that if a car and a bike are both using the road there is not space for them to pass. This means that cyclists are at risk of accident from cars and if cyclists walk their bike on the pavements there is not space for 2m distance with other pedestrians.
